4 TYPES OF PAINT REMOVAL/SURFACE PREPARATION ON WOOD SURFACES

The EPA has new rules for stripping lead paint and contractors must get lead certified or face substantial fines. All of our equipment meets the EPA guidelines and is used to comply with these new rules.

1. TOTAL PAINT REMOVAL using the PAINTSHAVER® PRO and finishing the wood
with the RANDOM ORBITAL SANDERVAC™ PRO:

• The PaintShaver® Pro strips 1 square foot of lead or regular paint from clapboards, shingles,
   or any flat surface in 20 seconds.
• The PaintShaver® Pro collects the stripped debris into any vacuum.
• Strips lead paint and meets EPA guidelines
• The PaintShaver® Pro strips the butt and face of clapboards and shingles simultaneously.
• The replaceable tungsten carbide blades will strip up to 5,000 square feet.

   and can be used on wood shingles, clapboards and all flat surfaces.
• Heavy duty aluminum oxide sanding pads last twice as long as standard sanding pads.

3. LIGHT PARTIAL PAINT REMOVAL by removing flaking paint and feathering the painted surface

   after they have been stripped with the PAINTSHAVER® PRO.
• Can be used for preparing and feathering lead painted surfaces.

• 5” x 5 Hole Heavy Duty Hook and Loop Aluminum Oxide sanding pads last twice as long
   as standard paper pads.

4. TO REMOVE PAINT FROM NON-FLAT WOOD SURFACES such as window frames,
use the HEAT-N-STRIP™ infrared paint heater:

• The HEAT-N-STRIP™ heats paint to 200-400 degrees Fahrenheit so it can be removed
   with a scraper.
• Safe for lead paint removal.
• Heating time is approx. 20-60 seconds.
• Heating elements are replaceable.
• The HEAT-N-STRIP™ is environmentally safe and meets EPA guidelines.
